Speakers

Josh

Josh is a member of City Church Manchester and works at the BBC as a Senior Software Engineer for the website. He is also a big fan of Disney theme parks, and - after a short holiday to Tokyo Disney in 2018 - God used that trip to reveal to Josh the opportunity to share the gospel in Japan. He began to consider doing mission work in Japan, reaching out to office workers. He recently returned from a two-month stint in Tokyo on OMF’s Serve Asia programme.

Luke & Alison

Luke & Alison and their three kids are currently back in the UK after three years in Thailand with OMF.

They have been helping at Manorom International Christian School and at a community project for children and young adults with disabilities.

They have also hosted two short-term workers and a couple on a vision trip exploring how God might use them in Thailand, so are well-placed to advise those exploring God’s calling on their lives. They previously served in Thailand for a number of years before joining OMF and are currently based near York for their time in the UK.

Levi & Mayu

Levi has worked in Japan with OMF for just over 9 years, helping churches to make disciples through sports (especially Ultimate Frisbee).

He shared about his journey to serving Jesus in Japan in a short book ‘Ultimate Grace’, published by 10ofthose.

Last year Levi married Mayu, a Japanese artist and designer. They are currently in the UK before returning to Japan later this year.

They will be sharing how God has used their unique gifts and skills to bring the gospel to different people in Japan.
